café du feu pâle

Pale Fire Brewing Company was lucky enough to get world-renowned French gypsy jazz guitarist, Stephane Wremble whose work can be found on the soundtracks of Woody Allen films Midnight in Paris and Vicky Cristina Barcelona in for a mid-week show and asked us to round out the evening with a Sub Rosa Supper Club dinner.

We transformed the brewery into a French sidewalk bistro complete with a flower shop and live trees. The menu was traditional bistro fare with French wines and Pale Fire beer pairings. With capacity for 40 at this one, we thought a mid-week event might be tough to sell out, but it did and no one seemed to balk at starting dinner at 8:30 pm on a Wednesday! So very French of us.
